FaithsTogether held their 20th Annual Giving Thanks Observance! People of all backgrounds came together at The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church for a beautiful celebration of the season! Thank you, FaithsTogether, for all your hard work in putting together such an inspiring program, which included skits, songs, rich cultural experiences and even food!

Food Pantry Needs


Thanks to your generosity, all families and Seniors have been adopted for Holiday GIVING! We are grateful to our community who continues to help our neighbors in need.  Interfaith will continue to accept new, unwrapped toys for children, ages infant to high school senior, for our Holiday Toy Drive. We are also still accepting food donations.

Click here to see an active list of participating businesses hosting toy drives or feel free to donate to our Office M-F, 8 am-5 pm. Toys are due by Monday, December 17!

Congregations Participate in Holiday GIVING: Adopt-A-Family Program

Our Adopt-A-Family program was a huge success! We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support our efforts this Holiday Season! We are thrilled to be able to serve our community thanks to your generosity.
A big thank you to  Living Word Lutheran Church,  The Woodlands Christian Church,  Trinity Episcopal,  St.'s Simon & Jude Catholic Church and  Christ Church United Methodist for making the difference for families in Montgomery County!
Sts. Simon and Jude to Host Senior Holiday GIVING Dinner 

Thank you to Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church for hosting our Senior Holiday GIVING Dinner on Thursday, Dec 14, where Senior Adults will enjoy food, fellowship and a holiday sing-along. Thank you for helping us promote independence and dignity for our local Seniors in Montgomery County!


Interfaith of The Woodlands holds November Board Meeting 

Interfaith Board members came together for the final Board Meeting of 2018.  The Board elected four outstanding individuals to serve on the 2019 Interfaith Board of Directors. Rob Johnson, 2018 Chair of Interfaith of The Woodlands' Board of Directors, announced the appointments:  Father Tom Raferty , Clergy Delegate representing St . Anthony of Padua Catholic Church;  Rodney Mills, Clergy Delegate representing N orthway Church;  Kerrie Guerrero, At Large Delegate and  Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital; and  Jim Parisi , At Large Delegate and President of The Woodlands and Lakeside Hospitals as well as the Springwoods Village facility.

The meeting also paid tribute to Rob Johnson for his commitment to Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic, as he completes his service as chair of the Board of Directors. Rob Johnson will move to Ex-Officio of the Board in 2019, and Alex Sutton will become the Chair of the Board of Directors for 2019.


Congregations Collect for Food Pantry

The Interfaith Food Pantry feeds an estimated 600 households every month! Thanks to the donations of our member congregations, the Interfaith Food Pantry will be able to help our neighbors in need to have a delicious holiday meal this season!  We are so grateful for the donations in November from Lord of Life Lutheran Church and The Woodlands Christian Church.

Thanksgiving Feast for Senior Adults
At the South County Community Center

Interfaith hosted another wonderful Thanksgiving feast serving Senior Adults in our community! Guests enjoyed a special Thanksgiving performance by our Interfaith Child Development Center's Transition to Kindergarten class!
A very special thank you to Alex Sutton, Vice Chair of Interfaith's Board of Directors, for kicking off the event. Thank you to Commissioner James Noack for hosting us at the South County Community Center. We are grateful for the Interfaith staff and volunteers who helped put on this wonderful event.

In addition to serving the families that visit Interfaith every day, the Interfaith Food Pantry also serves home-bound seniors. Volunteers help package and delivers groceries to 185 Seniors in the senior complexes once a month.
