“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.  (John 13:13-15, NIV)
December 2020 Week 1 Prayers
December 1 is World AIDS Day | Christians have long been at the forefront of the HIV/AIDS response. Our potential to be leaders in the effort to prevent the spread, and care for the afflicted with compassion is immense. Pray that Christians and in particular faith leaders will grow in this role as we work toward the end of the HIV epidemic. See Faith and HIV in the Next Decade

December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Prayers of thanks for Christians helping people with disabilities reach their potential for abundant life. Prayers of thanks for the work of Karen Rispin and the Assistive Technology Catalyst Project and her commitment to lead FBOs to resources so they can reach out to people with disabilities.
