CEO MESSAGE

Warm Holiday Greetings, YMCA Friends!

While the holidays can be a wonderful time of year to share precious time and gift-giving with loved ones, it can also be a time of stress for many who struggle with basic resources, mental health, and the added cost of holiday shopping. As a charitable organization, our Y’s mission to strengthen the foundations of community has never mattered more. We are steadfast in our commitment to be here for all who need us with just the right support.

We THANK YOU for your part in strengthening lives as a Y member, donor, partner, staff, or volunteer. There are wonderful things ahead for us in 2024 as we get ready to celebrate 150 years of service and support for our greater community! We are planning fun ways to engage members, donors, partners, volunteers and staff in our celebrations. Until then, please take time to slow down, be present, and enjoy the things you love with those you love this holiday season.

Our Y wishes you peaceful, healthy holidays.

~ Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year!

Stronger Together,

Laurie Goganzer, President & CEO

YMCA of Greater Monmouth County
