Arrhythmia Alliance and Golf Care
team up to save lives.

Recently released figures by Arrhythmia Alliance and specialist golf insurance provider Golf Care show that nearly two-thirds of golf clubs still do not have an Automated External Defibrillator on-site. Golf Care and Arrhythmia Alliance have jointly launched the Saving Golfers’ Lives campaign to raise money to provide more defibrillators for UK golf clubs.

Golf Care has donated over £1,000 to the Arrhythmia Alliance and will make further contributions during 2019, in order to get AED's installed in multiple clubs.

The aim of this study was to determine the association between depression as well as antidepressant treatment and the risk of incident atrial fibrillation.
National Cardiac Audit Programme (NCAP) annual report 2018:
Recently published, this report highlights progress in cardiovascular care and makes recommendations for improvement. The audit findings recognise areas of clinical excellence that can be adopted across the NHS, but also identify areas where care falls below expected standards. These standards should be used to determine local and national quality improvement aims for clinicians, service managers and commissioners.
