Social Workers Featured in Mini-Documentary on "Informed: Hosted by Rob Lowe"

The National Association of Social Workers worked with "Informed: Hosted by Rob Lowe" on a mini-documentary that looks at how social workers help people improve their mental health and team with doctors to promote health and wellness. Pennsylvania social worker, and Past President of NASW-PA, Troy Brindle, LCSW, was featured prominently in the film, along with Angelo McClain, NASW CEO, and Crystal Edwards, NASW-PA Member. The program will be aired nationally in January.

Social workers across the nation should be encouraged and proud to see the profession in such a positive light, as the public becomes more informed about the importance of integrated behavioral health care and the vital role that social workers play in behavioral health.
