Becoming Hulda's Girls
Book talk & signing with local author
Linda Helmich presents a book talk & signing for her newly published
Becoming Hulda's Girls: a Diary Memoir Celebrating the Richness of Everyday Life, a book written with her sisters about their life growing up in the Midwest during 1938-1958. Books will be available for purchase.

Food for Fines benefiting Lift-Up! - For each non-perishable item brought in to the library, $1.00 worth of fines will be erased from your account (Please note:
food for fines only counts toward overdue fines, not damaged or lost items).
Tuesday, December 23rd at 2pm - Winter Craft for Middle Schoolers
All middle school students are invited to make their own bird feeder house. Please RSVP to Tammy at 970.429.1941. Supplies included.
Monday, December 29th at 3pm - Family Film
A feature length holiday film will be shown. Popcorn and drinks provided.
Wednesday, December 31st at 3pm - New Year's celebration for High Schoolers - Join us for games and refreshments.
 
TEENS
Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting
TAB is a group of committed young people in grades 9-12 interested in making a difference in their community. TAB meets the first Wednesday of every month; members receive community service credit for their time. Wednesday, December 3rd at 3pm.

Teen Book of the Month Club
The Teen Book of the Month Club is a book discussion group for high school aged students. Book selections are critically acclaimed, prize winners, or popular titles nominated by teens. December's book is The Young World by Chris WeitzWednesday, December 10th at 3pm.
High School Craft: Upcycled Ornaments
All high school aged participants are invited to make upcycled ornaments out of old books. All supplies & refreshments provided! Wednesday, December 17th at 3pm.
 
CHILDREN
Story Art
Hear fun stories and make great art. We partner with the Aspen Art Museum to present this program for all young children. Monday, December 1st at 10:30am.
After School Craft

Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for an after school craft activity in the children's room! Supplies provided. Wednesday, December 3rd from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.

Baby Storytime - Lapsit storytime for babies ages 0-24 months lasting about 20 minutes, with stay and play following. Songs, rhymes, bounces, fingerplays, books, and more. Every Tuesday at 10:30am!

Preschool Storytime - Storytime lasting 30 minutes for preschoolers ages 3-5. Every Wednesday at 10:15am!

Toddler Storytime - Storytime lasting 30 minutes for toddlers ages 2-3. 
Every Wednesday at 11am!
 
HOLIDAY CLOSURES
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day / New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Please note that the library will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th (Christmas Eve) and Thursday, December 25th (Christmas Day). The library will resume normal hours on Friday, December 26th.

The library will be be closing at 6pm on Wednesday, December 31st (New Year's Eve) and will be closed on Thursday, January 1st (New Year's Day). The library will resume normal hours on Friday, January 2nd.
