"Slow down, you move to fast,
you got to make the morning last,
kicking down the cobblestones, looking for fun and feeling groovy."- Simon and Garfunkel
Wise words from some epic poets. We are following their direction at Samsara Wellness Center this holiday season.
We hope you do the same; because life is to short to plow through it unconsciously.

Life is more rewarding when you take time to
actually slow down enough to enjoy it.
All of our services can help you become a more mindful, healthier, whole individual. Please come enjoy the benefits of a yoga/pranayama/or meditation class, book a much needed massage or sacred art session.

This month we will have small bags filled with epsom salts and sprinkled with seaweed, home grown herbs and lavender essential oil for you to take home. Our gift to you. We encourage you to make a ritual out of your bath time. Light some candles, put on some great music, filled the bath slowly and take the time to be still.

Above all, slow down. Take the time you need to enjoy this holiday season, your life and ALL those who help give it meaning.

We have put together a few specials for those of you who may want to give the gift of massage or yoga to a friend,
co-worker or family member.

Lastly we say our goodbyes to Jordan (for now). Jordan will be taking maternity leave. Her last class is December 13th. We wish her and her new family all the happiness and health in the world and thank her for all she's has done for us!

Vee is a Colorado native. After making the decision to move to California in November 2017, she discovered Samsara Wellness Center and immediately resonated with the message & mission of the team. At 19, she looked to a regular yoga practice as a way to escape the early onset of arthritis pain she was experiencing. Vee enjoyed the movement connected to the breath and overtime she could feel the strength she was gaining along with the physical and emotional pain she found herself releasing during the practices. The joy and inner peace she felt after each practice reassured her this was meant to be a part of her journey.
Vee set the intention to heal her body from the inside out and chose to begin Feeding the JOY in her life. At 21, she decided to take her healing journey onto the next level and dedicate her life to the healing arts of integrative nutrition, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy and pranayama. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a certified 200 hr Yoga Instructor from Fountain of Health Yoga Studio.
Her approach to health encourages clients to love the skin their in, escape the grasp of pain (inflammation) in the body & ultimately live the highest quality of life possible, WITHOUT dieting!
Vee guides clients to build their customized lifestyle that attracts joy, abundance & life-long health!

Why did you start yoga?

Honestly, it was a really stressful job that prompted my current yoga habit. I'd done a little yoga here & there over the last 10 years but never more than a few weeks at a time. Then I found myself in a job that left me with almost no balance between work and non-work, and I knew I was going to short circuit if I didn't find some form of self-care that could keep me grounded. Thankfully the yoga habit stuck even after I left the stressful job behind.

What do you enjoy most about the practice or what are the main benefits of your practice?

Yoga gets me out of my head and forces me to tune into the language of my body. It allows me to create the mental and physical space to meditate, try new things, push past discomfort, and even take a risk here and there. The fact that I'm in the best physical shape that I've ever been in is just the cherry on top.

Any suggestions, or words of advice for new students?

There were a couple of things that kept me away from yoga before I started practicing regularly: feeling like I wasn't "good enough" to go to a class, and being intimidated by super bendy people who looked like they lived off of Altoids and water. But I've been thrilled to find, especially at Samsara, that the community that yoga creates can be one of the most welcoming, non-judgey and genuinely caring collections of people around. If you show up with an open mind, willing to be vulnerable and ready to learn, the possibilities of what you can create are endless.
