Council Inauguration live stream
On December 3, 2018, Brampton’s new City Council will be officially sworn into office for the 2018-2022 term. The Inauguration will be held at the Rose Theatre at 8 pm.
  
The Council Inauguration ceremony will be live streamed on the City website at www.brampton.ca as well as on the large LED screen at Garden Square (outside the Rose Theatre). The live stream will also be aired in the Conservatory, ground floor of City Hall, 2 Wellington Street West, where members of the public are welcome to attend. Underground parking is available at City Hall.

On December 4, 2018 at a Special Council meeting, one of the elected City Councillors will be appointed to the position of a Regional Councillor.

Ryerson University's G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education will officially begin offering courses in downtown Brampton in January 2019. Courses in Cybersecurity via the certificate in Computer Security and Digital Forensics will run in the West Tower on George Street. Interested students can register now.  [ more... ]

 Holiday Closure
City offices will be closed as of 12 pm on Monday, December 24 and will re-open on Wednesday, January 2 at 8:30 am. Participants at   recreation and community centres   should call ahead as some facilities may operate on holiday hours.
