Skiers and snowboarders looking to hit the slopes at Lively and Adanac Ski Hills this winter can purchase season passes and take advantage of early bird pricing until December 18, 2024.

The Ski 2 season pass offers access to both Lively and Adanac Ski Hills for one reduced price. Both hills offer equipment rentals.

Ski 2 Pass Rates:

Junior (6 to 14): $460 (regular $570)

Youth (15 to 17) or student with valid student card: $530 (regular $640)

Adult (18 to 64): $640 (regular $740)

Senior (65+): $530 (regular $640)

Family of two: $1,000 (regular $1,180)

Family of three: $1,340 (regular $1,600)

Family of four: $1,480 (regular $1,740)

Family of five: $1,910 (regular $2,250)

Each additional family member (with a Family pass): $250 (regular $310)

Additional pass for children ages 5 and under (with purchase of an Adult or Family pass): $19

Introducing Walleye!

Walleye came to us as a stray, but we believe he had a rough life before arriving at the shelter. Walleye is still young and has a lot of potential to grow into a confident dog. He seems to be a little nervous of men at the shelter but has been slowly warming up to male staff with time and treats. He's happy, excitable, playful and food motivated!

He has met other dogs but seemed quite nervous. With a slow introduction, he would likely do well with another dog. Untested with children and cats.

Facilitated by the Older Adult Advisory Panel's Age Friendly Working Group, older adults living in Greater Sudbury are invited to share their ideas and feedback on the Age Friendly Community Strategy.

Throughout the first nine months of the year, Greater Sudbury has experienced considerable growth in all sectors. Through the latest Stats Can estimate, the city’s population has reached 179,965, surpassing federal and provincial expectations. In the first three quarters of the year, there have been 833 new housing units issued for construction, and 377 permits issued for industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) projects throughout the community, amounting to a construction value of over $561.1 million for all sectors in the city so far in 2024.
