Welcome to our last newsletter of 2018.

There are some things which make such an impression on one, you know they will stay with you for life and my trip to Seoul to attend the opening of renowned Iranian artist, Nicky Nodjoumi's exhibition at Barakat Contemporary (at their invitation) last month was just such an experience. Its on until 13th January so do go if you're in Seoul!

Other highlights of the month include the online cha rity auction with Artscoops for The Forgotten Heroes 14-19 Foundation . Running till 6th December and entitled ' The Unknown Fallen – Singularity of Peace' the works are based on 6 years of international research, The Unknown Fallen was published in February 2018 and seeks to highlight the true contribution of ethnic minority soldiers of different faiths in World War I.

We all like things that are for free and this month our Art Matters section focuses on free online resources from Museums and Institutions.

Our Inspiration comes from Tom Young who looks at the history of Lebanon's derelict buildings and brings them alive. Coincidentally he is also part of the Rebecca Dykes Foundation charity exhibition at The Royal Opera Arcade Gallery this month. See below.

With the festive season in mind, we have included a section with suggested unusual gifts. Don't forget too to check our website and Artsy pages for other ideas (including works from our Supermercado #01 exhibition in conjunction with Nouvelle Vague Marbella ).

Lastly, watch out for our artist, Richard Allenby-Pratt's takeover of our Instagram account from 8th December for a week.

From all the team at JRFA (Janet, Rajaa and Mohsin) we wish you a very happy end to the year and thank you for your continued support.
