Deck the Halls
Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Deck the Halls 2021 is less than a month away. The behind the scenes work is picking up speed as the clock ticks down. We need your help to make it our best yet! Here are ways you can contribute to a successful fundraiser for Mission and Outreach.
Wine Pull: Your donation of one or several bottles of wine will help us reach our goal of 100+ bottles! One of our most popular features, it depends on your donation of a bottle of wine with a minimum value of $15. Bring your donation to church on Sunday or contact Marcia Moore ([email protected]) to arrange a convenient drop off.
Ladies Accessories: Betty Atwell is once again collecting new or gently used jewelry and ladies accessorieswallets, clutch purses, and similar small items. Bring it to church where one of our “Green Apron” helpers will be happy to collect it from you, or contact Betty at [email protected] for more information.
Boughs of Holly have begun accepting pre-sales for the wreaths, arrangements, and poinsettias. Orders can be made through the St. Andrew’s Fundraisers website, or stop by our booth at the Corner Market each Saturday between now and December 4. The deadline for ordering is November 27, and it’s not that far away!
Gingerbread House kits will also be available again this year. The $15 kit includes candies, frosting, and an assembled house. Pre-orders are being taken through the St. Andrew’s Fundraisers site and at the Corner Market each Saturday. Join us for house decorating on December 4 at 12:30 in the Parish Hall, or take yours home for some family fun!
The Giving Tree will be returning as well for 2021. Donations of gift cards are needed! If you have a business you regularly frequent, consider asking for a gift card of any value. If you work for a company that would like to sponsor a gift card, we will be sure to note their generosity to our Mission and Outreach efforts. Please contact Carolyn Hackett ([email protected]) for more information.
Crafters, Hobbyists…we need to hear from you! Presents Under the Tree is our selling area for all things hand-crafted. If you have an item or two to share, please let us know. Contact Virginia Haskett at [email protected]
Mrs. Claus’s Sweets and Treats will be accepting baked goods and confections for sale on December 4. Nancy Rizzuto can fill you in on the Covid protocols. There is a lot to look forward to so get those mixers ready! The protocols are not difficult to follow, and Nancy will be happy to share them with you. She can be reached at [email protected]
O, Little Town of Bethlehem, the fabulous display of nativity sets reflecting many cultures and traditions, will also be back for 2021. If you have a nativity scene you would like to have in the display, please contact Corinth Milikin at [email protected].
And new this year, our very own Photo Booth! Located on the Kensington Street side of the church, we hope you will stop by and take your picture to share with all. Bring your pooch, your kids, your friends, and snap this year’s holiday picture. And then….post it on your social media site along with an invitation to join us on December 4. Help us get the word out!
We have a limited number of yard signs advertising Deck the Halls. Please consider picking up one to let your neighbors in on the news. Susan Brannan will have them available after church on November 21. If you have one from last year but never returned it, please let us know so we can give you the updated date and time.
More information to come, check our updates in the Thursday eNews and a special handout this coming Sunday. Read all about it!
