Rockport New Year's Eve

Let's bring in the New Year! Rockport’s annual year-end celebration of the arts offers a wide range of entertainment for adults and children beginning at 4 PM and culminating with a midnight ball drop. The 12 downtown entertainment venues will include halls, churches, and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of one another. DCR established First Day Hikes over 30 years ago to promote healthy lifestyles and active year-round recreation at our state parks. Start your year off on the right step with a guided walk around Halibut Point State Park's outer trails! We'll have stops at significant features and magnificent views. Wear sturdy, warm footwear/boots/ice creepers, clothing layers, sunscreen or scarf to protect your face from the wild coastal winds. Heavy rain/snow cancels.
