From the President ...

As we put the final touches on 2017, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our board members who have taken a great deal of time servicing and volunteering for board meetings and events. Their belief in our mission helps us make the best decisions for our business community.  I want to thank all of our Chamber Investors for their support in 2017 and the volunteer hours. We had many successful events in 2017 and this would not have possible without your support and participation
.
We are adding some opportunities for you to be involved with in 2018. One new program coming in 2018 is our First Friday Luncheon that will be held at Sweetwater Chophouse. Our January speaker will be Craig Riedel our State Representative. We will start a Good Morning Series starting in March similar to our Business after Hours. This will give our Chamber investors a network event for those that may not be able to attend our Business after Hours in the evenings. We will have three of them this this year to test the water. We need you feedback.

We will have an Investor/Appreciate Day for Chamber investors on April 27 th. This will give us an opportunity to show our appreciation to our investors. We will have many of those agencies that provide benefits to our investors here in our office that will be able to answer questions about your benefits. We have been told by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce this is the first of its kind. We are looking forward to seeing many of you at this event being held at the DACC office.

We are looking forward to a great 2018, with our current events and programs plus our new additions we will be off to a great start. I know all of you are very busy and it appears 2018 will be no different. With 2018 fast approaching, we are looking forward to celebrating our 80 th anniversary. As we finish up 79 years of advocating on behalf of businesses, I want to say thank you to everyone who contributed to our success, and I look forward to working with you this year. Please contact us if we can do anything to help you and your business in any way.
Sincerely,

Darrell Handy
President/CEO
