Happy Spring!

We hope that everyone had a great Easter!
Did you attend the Community Egg Hunt?
We were excited to partner with St. John's Northwestern Academies to bring a Community Egg Hunt back to Delafield. Can you believe that we had over 5,000 eggs and they were gone in less than a minute? We were hoping to do the hunt more strategically with the younger participants- however, when one kid goes- they all do! We are excited to share this will be a new staple event in the future years. Fun was had by all!

Last Thursday we had our 1st Spring/Summer Ladies Night Out event! (Sorry fellas! This is an event for the Ladies!) We set up 200 bags filled with goodies to pass out and send everyone on their way to shop the downtown boutiques that have awesome deals of the night! If you weren't able to join us- check our website for May and June dates!

In May we have our Spring Art Walk! We are crossing our fingers for great weather.
Daybreak Prime Meats & Deli will have a band in the parking lot and the streets will be filled with artists!
This year we are working on adding more family friendly aspects to this event but adding a balloon artist, caricature drawings, Kona Ice and face painting. This will definitely be a great event for the whole family!

Remember to shop local! Delafield has so many awesome boutiques and stores on 83 and Downtown! Be sure to check them out!

Over the past few weeks LCFR has responded to numerous grass fires. These fires spread extremely fast with the dry vegetation and even faster when it is windy out. While the burning ban has been lifted with the recent rainfall, always use caution when burning this spring and into the summer. Ensure that you meet all the requirements to burn prior to starting any fires. For a complete list of burning requirements and restrictions visit lakecountryfire.com
