The Travel Convention is attended by ABTA Members, ABTA Partners and delegates spanning the travel sector as well as travel journalists from the UK's national, consumer and trade media.

Over three days, there will be numerous opportunities to network with fellow attendees in both business and social settings.

Welcome from Marrakech

Merging ancient traditions and modernity, Marrakech is a unique destination and is the ideal place to meet for The Travel Convention this October.

The ochre city offers an eclectic mix of sandstone buildings, sprawling deserts, flourishing souks, labyrinth lanes and architecture.

Golf Tournament

The Convention’s 18-hole Golf Tournament will take place at the Royal Golf Marrakech on Monday 10 October.

Tickets are priced at £125, which includes transfers, arrival refreshments, green fees and a prize-giving buffet lunch.

The Royal Golf Marrakech course was a favourite of the late HM King Hassan II and the Royal’s prestigious history remains evident throughout the club today.

Morocco's green economy

The Moroccan National Tourism Office is passionate about sustainability, and it is sharing information about the country’s sustainability initiatives ahead of the Convention.

Among these is that Morocco invests heavily in the green economy. Specifically, this includes the development of renewable solar and wind energy, which should constitute 50% of Morocco's energy mix by 2030.
