Delia Bradford Fine Arts
It's been a busy spring traveling to in all directions of the United States - Hawaii, New York, and Alaska.

In April, we went to Kauai. I enjoyed painting the chickens and the Poipu coast. It was a delight to sit in the sand to paint, and then jump in the warm ocean when I got too hot.

My daughter graduated from Quinnipiac University in May, and we enjoyed a family trip to the East Coast. The evening colors from Times Square and Columbus Circle were very inspiring!

This past August, we went to a cruise to Alaska. I loved the emerald green waters, beautiful mountains, and the gorgeous wildflowers in the valley.

The painting above is inspiration from visiting Monet's show at the de Young Museum. I went back through my photos from our trip last year to Claude Monet Giverny Garden, and have been working on recreating the magic we saw there.

Below are a few of my new paintings, including some highlights from my recent travels, and the beauty found in my own backyard in the Monterey Bay.
