Proclaiming the Gospel; Equipping the Saints; Mobilizing the Church | "...rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven." (Luke 10:20b)

November 2023
Dear WMO family,
| |
Blessings to you in Jesus the Lord God. We are thankful for all the Lord has done this year. It has been fruitful, reaching souls with the Good News of His Gospel to all people in the light of Romans 1:16. As 2023 is coming to a close, we are already preparing for several upcoming evangelistic outreaches in 2024 in different parts of the world. Will you stand with us to help accomplish these outreaches?
World Mission Outreach (WMO) exists to proclaim the Gospel and equip and mobilize the church on evangelism; and we always partner with local churches to follow up with new believers. As we pray for and plan the 2024 evangelistic outreaches, God willing we will be returning to Costa Rica in February and Maui, Hawaii in May.
Costa Rica - February 2024
We are currently encouraging church members in Costa Rica to pray for this upcoming evangelistic outreach, and to bring unsaved family and friends to the event. We plan to bring a team with us to help at the outreaches and by going door-to-door to invite people to come and hear the Good News of the Living God. If you or anyone you know would like to make a difference in the lives of others, please click here to sign up and join us on this outreach.

Maui, Hawaii - May 2024
Please pray for wisdom on how we can bless the people of Maui. The fire in Lahaina displaced 7,000 residents who are currently without a home, many of whom are living in hotels paid for by the government. WMO just finished a Board Meeting on Kaua'i, and under the leading of the Lord Jesus and the approval of the WMO Board Members, with God’s help WMO will conduct an evangelistic outdoor tent meeting on Maui in May next year. We are committed to bringing the Gospel message to the people of Maui who are hurting and needing the hope only Jesus can bring. This will include a one-night special evening for the Jewish people of Maui, to share the love of Messiah with them.
| |
Will you please stand with us in prayer and financial support to prepare for this outreach on Maui? We cannot do it without partners and friends like you. There is so much work coming up, including visiting several churches on Maui to prepare them for this outreach. The Lord has already provided a tent for the outdoor meeting. Other leaders are asking permission from the municipality to get the permit for the venue on Maui. Please pray for favor. We will keep you updated.
A Little History of World Mission Outreach
By God’s grace and calling, 28 years ago World Mission Outreach was born in Lahaina on the Island of Maui in Hawaii. Formerly known as Hawaii Jewish Outreach, bringing hope to all the islands of Hawaii, we became World Mission Outreach because of the vision for world evangelism in the light of Romans 1:16. It is God’s heart and God’s vision that His Son, Messiah Jesus, be proclaimed to all the nations (Matt. 28:19-20). This is His unconditional love: God so loved the world that He gave His only Son (Jn. 3:16). Our passion is our Father’s vision to give also by proclaiming the Son of God.
In January 2004, the Lord took us to Jerusalem and we were blessed to serve Him for many years by bringing the hope of Yeshua to both Jews and Arabs in the Land of Israel. First Maui and then Israel have served as our base over the years, and now both are going through difficult trials.

Testimony of a Survivor of the Lahaina Fire
While in Lahaina, we walked by the rubble and prayed for all the people who had lost loved ones and their homes. Later, while we were on the other side of the island, we met two friends, AJ and Chamille. Henry mentioned the fire a few times and said, “It could have been you.” He transitioned from talking about the physical fire to speaking about eternity and where they would spend it. We found out that AJ lives north of Lahaina and Chamille actually lived in Lahaina, surviving the fire with her family. We could sense they were both very open to the Gospel and AJ had many questions. It touched Chamille’s heart to realize that God not only spared her from the physical fire but also, after hearing about the love and Gospel of Jesus, she could be spared from the eternal fire and judgment of sin and that she could have her name written in the Book of Life (Rev. 20:15). It is only by God’s grace through faith in Jesus that one can be saved. AJ and Camille each made a decision to believe and receive Jesus the Lord. They both understood the message, especially Chamille who realized two important things: First, that her true home is in heaven and, second, that God in His mercy and grace, through Jesus, spared her life from the eternal fire and judgment of sin.
