Save the Date: Safety for the Kids Golf Outing

Mark your calendars! GLSTC’s Safety for the Kids Golf Outing is set for Wednesday, August 19, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, taking place at Bucks Run in Mount Pleasant. Join us for a beautiful day on the golf course supporting Safety for the Kids program, which funds scholarships for students pursuing a trade or degree with an emphasis on safety and provides safety training and gear for high school building trade programs within the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Member Spotlight

This month's member spotlight is Delta Steel.


Delta Steel has proudly served the industry for more than 50 years and will celebrate 51 years in business this June. Located at 1410 Webber Street in Saginaw, the company is also preparing to open a new facility in Buena Vista Township. While their current location will continue operating as a receiving and processing facility, all fabrication services will transition to the new site.


An AISC-certified structural steel fabrication shop, Delta Steel specializes in structural steel fabrication and processing. Their capabilities include CNC cutting and drilling, plate burning, angle processing, and in-house detailing services. In addition, their certified erection company, Tri-Steel—a division of Delta Steel—provides complete project installation and steel erection services. Known as “Leaders in Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection,” Delta Steel continues to deliver quality craftsmanship and dependable service throughout the region.


Safety remains a top priority for the company. As they state, “Quality work starts with a safe workplace, and no production schedule is worth more than the safety of our team.” Delta Steel’s commitment to maintaining a strong culture of safety reflects the values they bring to every project and every job site.
