Nothing brings hope like the promise of a wish.
Being treated with chemotherapy for her leukemia left Nora easily fatigued and often nauseated, But she didn't let that stop her. “Nora is strong-willed and spunky,” says her mom, Emily. “Her cancer diagnosis didn’t change that, but it did bring new challenges for a girl who is determined to be in charge of every situation.”

“When Nora first got sick, her wish was a bright, shiny moment in the future to look forward to experiencing,” says Emily. “When the days were tough, we would imagine all the fun things we would do when we went on her trip.” And it turns out the trip was everything they imagined it could be. “It was a chance to leave all the medical stuff behind, to just enjoy time together as a family and make cherished memories.”
