Delta Sigma Pi Receives Honor
The Zeta Nu Chapter from Texas A&M University-Kingsville received the Gulf Western Region Most Improved Collegiate Chapter award. Awards were presented at the biennial national convention, Grand Chapter Congress (GCC), in August.

Bloomberg Classroom Reveal
The new Robert Justus Kleberg Sr. Bloomberg Classroom was unveiled in the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Funding for the new classroom came in the form of a $75,000 donation by Kleberg Bank.

Unique Learning Experience for BGS Students
Students attended the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) in Chicago in November.
  
More than 400 students from over 150 schools and several countries attended this summit to learn and develop professional skills, career readiness competencies, and best networking practices. The students worked on a challenging case study and presented it to the judges on the last day.

New Executive in Residence, Silvia Aparicio shares insights on the pathway to leadership
Newly appointed Executive in Residence (EIR) and CBA Alumnus '91, Silvia Aparicio, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer, First Community Bank (FCB) presented “Path to Becoming a Leader” to business students on November 13th.

As an EIR, Ms. Aparicio will serve as a presenter and business student mentor until the end 2021.
College Hosts 9th Annual Economic Forum
In October the college hosted its 9th Annual Economic Forum 2019 that featured guest speaker Christi Craddick from the Railroad Commission of Texas. Joined by CBA faculty, Dr. Thomas Krueger, presenters highlighted key components of the economic background of Kleberg County, and the importance of the oil and gas industry.

CBA Beyond the Classroom
Dr. Delcoure, Dr. Carmona and Ms. Kieschnick traveled to Lima, Peru to represent the college at the Annual Members Assembly to receive the CLADEA membership diploma and attend the international conference on digital transformation and sustainable development for business schools.

In November, Dr. Natalya Delcoure served as Conference Chair of the AACSB International Associate Deans Conference in New Orleans .
