Become a Dementia Friend!

646 people have become Dementia Friends across the state of Iowa! If you haven't become a Dementia Friend yet or if someone else you know is looking to gain a basic understanding about dementia, attend a Dementia Friends session!

Seeking Volunteers


Volunteer as a Dementia Friends Champion to help others become Dementia Friends. Anyone who is passionate about dementia awareness can become a Volunteer Champion: professionals, students, people living with dementia, past and current caregivers, and more can join us! If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering as a Dementia Friends Champion, please connect them to Megan Zimmerman (mzimmerman@nei3a.org) to attend an upcoming virtual Champion training.
