“Unmasking New Faces”

As the long-awaited summer now approaches freeing ourselves from winter’s hibernation, and the shedding of our cumbersome winter textiles. We are now able to return to the theaters again to view new performances. The long winter has afforded me the time, solitude, and inspiration to write a few psychotronic screenplays. And to expand our troupe with new talent to make these new works possible.

With this said, I would like to take this time to introduce the following new members of the Demitasse Players Repertory Theater. Matt Rush, Creative Director, and Ashely De Groat, Sound Engineer. Both Matt and Ashely bring years of experience and education to the troupe and will be taking the lead in producing the coming works.

Existing troupe members Eric Scholz and Drew Caico have also taken on additional roles to help advance these new works. Eric, Digital Director, will also be taking on the position of Marketing Director. Eric has also been elevated to a member of the troupe’s Board of Directors. Drew, Musical Director, will now be composing all the scores, and performing his works with the Demitasse Players band for the up-and coming movies. These new additions and changes will afford me the time to focus on writing and working with the Board of Directors to advance the troupe forward over the coming years.

Over the coming months, we will be shooting a number of psychotronic existential comedies and dramas dealing with our human condition. We are also preparing for the premiere of our first movie, An Existential Date, to be shown at the September 17, fundraiser at Whippoorwill Theater. We hope you can support us in raising funds and awareness for mental health by attending this event.
