Multiverse Node
First Component of the Multiverse System
Each Multiverse® Node is a transceiver. As a single universe transmitter, it functions in a similar plug and play manner to our Multiverse SHoW Baby®, but contains two radios (North America version only) and a full user interface. As a receiver, it is the primary single universe stand alone receiver in the Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM system, and can be part of a larger multi-universe setup.

The best part? The choice between transmitter and receiver is entirely plug and play. It happens automatically when DMX is present.
Remote Device Management (RDM)
Each Multiverse Node is an RDM proxy, and an RDM responder. RDM proxy means that it functions exactly like a cable, and that anything downstream of the unit can be seen through RDM. RDM responder means that Multiverse Nodes are RDM devices themselves, capable of reporting back to the RDM controller, such as a DMXcat® Multi Function Test Tool, data such as signal strength at the Receivers, circuit board temperature, and setting items such as output power, the device label, and the SHoW ID.

Did You Know?
By connecting your Multiverse Node to an RDM controller, like DMXcat, you'll be able to view the Product Information, Sensors, and Manufacturer Settings right in your smartphone app. Although most of this information duplicates what you see you the Multiverse Node's onboard user interface screen, it is helpful to have in situations when your Multiverse Node is out of reach, perhaps on a truss.
