LINDA PARKS
- is running for re-election to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors - District 2
Linda Parks has been on the Ventura County Board of Supervisors for fourteen years and has served as its chair three times. Previously she served as a Planning Commissioner, City Councilmember, and Mayor for the City of Thousand Oaks, California. Some of her accomplishments include founding the Ventura County Discovery Center, creating laws protecting parks and farmland (SOAR), and writing the City of Thousand Oaks' first campaign reform law. As an open space advocate, her sixteen-year grassroots effort to preserve Ahmanson Ranch culminated in the Ranch’s purchase as a State Park.
Bernardo Perez
- is running for election to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors - District 4
Bernardo Perez served twelve years on the Moorpark City Council, including as Mayor of Moorpark.
Bernardo M. Perez has over a 30 year record of professional and volunteer leadership in our community and the Ventura County region as youth sports coach, community volunteer and elected official. He currently represents District Four on the Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) Board of Trustees. Bernardo’s current community participation includes the Simi Valley Hospital Foundation, the Moorpark Foundation for the Arts, Community Action of Ventura County, and the Workforce Education Coalition.
