Denveright | Denver Moves: Pedestrians & Trails
A plan for the most essential elements of our transportation network

Denver Moves: Pedestrians and Trails is a citywide plan for completing and improving sidewalks, street crossings and trails – the most essential elements of our transportation network. Denver will be improving connections near transit, as we strive to make walking and using a wheelchair safer and more comfortable in every corner of our city. It also includes exciting recommendations for enhancing our recreational trail network, including opportunities for new multi-use and singletrack trails.

People from all across our city shared their goals for walking and trails. A diverse task force of residents, advocates and community leaders helped to guide the plan, using community input from open houses, online and paper surveys, and more.

To truly achieve a pedestrian and trail network that's comfortable for all and treats all users with dignity, understanding the needs of underserved communities and people with disabilities was important. We worked with community leaders to ensure our community's diverse voices and needs were understood and represented.
Denveright  is a community-driven planning process that challenges you to shape how our community evolves in four key areas: land use, mobility, parks and recreational resources. Through four coordinated citywide plans, we will chart the course of the Mile High City for the next 20 years while also identifying immediate priorities to execute in the next few years.
