Dear Central Office Team Members,
As we shared yesterday, the Denver Nuggets' first-ever NBA Championship Parade is scheduled for tomorrow, June 15 at Civic Center Park. We have since received an update that the streets of the parade route will be closed by 7 a.m. This means that the route along Union Station, down 17th Street to Broadway, and down Broadway to Civic Center Park will be closed to through traffic, and parking on and along these streets will be unavailable. Please plan accordingly if you will not be working remotely or if you will be attending the parade. For information about road closures, accessibility, the parade map, and more, click here.
As a reminder, the pre-rally begins at 9 a.m. with live music and team highlights on the jumbo screens. At 10 a.m., the Nuggets will parade from Union Station to Civic Center Park where they will take center stage on the steps of the Denver City and County Building around noon.
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. tomorrow, June 15 will still proceed as posted. All presenters and required staff are expected to attend the meeting in person. Please plan travel routes accordingly.
