Gifts Matched at 50% by DaVita

The Denver Post Season To Share presented by DaVita is the holiday fundraising campaign of The Denver Post Community Foundation and runs through December 31, 2018. Donations go even further thanks to the generous match at 50 percent by DaVita, up $750,000!

Season To Share will support more than 50 nonprofit organizations in metro Denver, making a difference for low-income children, adults and families. These qualified nonprofits provide life-changing programs that  prepare  children and youth for success in the classroom and in life,  protect  children and families in need with medical care,  house  families and individuals in need of a permanent home, and   nourish those who experience hunger.

With the holiday season upon us, please consider making a gift today. Together we can make a difference for those less fortunate.

We are so grateful for the continued support and generosity of the  Trans-Siberian Orchestra  to the Denver community. On Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018,  The Denver Post  Season To Share presented by DaVita, received a check in the amount of $17,506 from TSO prior to their thrilling evening performance.

This gift, combined with others in every amount received throughout the campaign, will be matched by DaVita at 50 percent up to $750,000! We thank the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for choosing to help our 50+ nonprofit organizations focusing on children and youth, health and wellness, homelessness, and hunger.

Employee Volunteers Give Back

On Saturday, November 3, 2018, The  Denver Post ACTS (Assisting the Community Through Service) employee volunteers with their family and friends packaged food boxes at  Food Bank of the Rockies for our neighbors in need. This annual volunteer project is a favorite and our employees take pride in working fast and furious (while still having fun) to help as many people as possible. The average number of boxes made is 500, so you can bet there were cheers when our employees heard their hard work turned out 615 food boxes that would be distributed to seniors, families and individuals who need it most.
Food Bank of the Rockies is also a Denver Post Season To Share presented by DaVita grantee. You can read The Denver Post articles about them and other featured grantees by clicking here

Thank you to the following volunteers: Daniel Kruzic; Mike Rafferty; Joe Rubino and Jo; Judith Kohler; Theresa and Maria Burt; Elizabeth Hernandez; Noelle Phillips; Vicki Magoya; Devi and Mr. Monti; Kathy and Isabella Maaliki, Sharod Dadgar; a visiting Maaliki cousin; Kelle and Greg Schwartz; DeeAnna Grismore; Brett McCommons; Casey Horgan; JD Goracki; Carol Cline; Stacy Schafer; and project leader Chris Dolge.
