Emergency Notification Test from Denville Schools

There will be a test of the Denville Schools Communication System on Thursday, October 20th. You should receive an email, phone call and if you have opted in, a text message to your cell phone. Halloween House Decorating Contest

The Denville Recreation Committee’s Annual Scary House Contest is open to all Denville Residents. Decorate your house anyway you’d like for Halloween. Entry forms must be received by the Rec Department by 4:00pm on Oct. 25th. Click here for more information.

Information Night for 8th Grade Parents & Students

Morris Knolls Junior Eagles Wrestling

Registration is now open for Morris Knolls Junior Eagles Wrestling. The program is open to residents of MK High School sending districts (Denville and Rockaway Twp) in K - 8th Grade. Please click here for information.
Parenting Toolbox Series: Family Connections

Join experts from Atlantic Health System Goryeb Children’s Hospital and Atlantic Behavioral Health for these trainings that focus on meaningful conversations, mindfulness, and lighthearted ways to create opportunities for family connections. STEM Saturdays at the YMCA

The Lakeland Hills YMCA is offering STEM Saturdays in October. Each Saturday will be a different theme: Fall Earth Science, Circuits and Electricity and Spooky Chemistry. These classes are open to both members and non members. Click here for more information.
Kiwanis Club of Denville Shredding Event

The Kiwanis Club of Denville is holding a shredding event on October 29 from 9AM - Noon at Dickerson's Corner on Route 53. Dust off the cobwebs and clean out those spooky closets! Please click here for more information.
Technology Corner: October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cyber.org has a Cyber Safety Video Series and tips available to help parents and students understand how to stay safe online. These include Social Media, Ransomware and Phishing. Click here for the link to this educational site.

Denville Schools Board Of Education Meetings
The Denville Board of Education held its meeting on October 10, 2022. Click the image to the right to view the meeting. 

Board of Education Meeting Highlights:
1.       The district received another FEMA grant in the amount of $55,000.
2.       The 2021-22 HIB self-evaluation was presented to the Board.
3.       The public is invited to attend and participate in our new strategic plan on Nov 14, 28 and Dec 12
4.       The district audit of the 2021-22 budget was presented to the Board.
