SERVICE ENHANCEMENTS & UPDATES

LADBS To Unveil New Website

 

Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) is set to launch a brand new website in December 2024, designed to bring users a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. 



The new website will feature a modernized look that will incorporate the Department’s new color palette, which will be part of its comprehensive rebranding efforts.

As part of this rebranding, LADBS will be adopting a new URL: dbs.lacity.gov. LADBS will also unveil a refreshed logo, which will be featured prominently throughout the website, symbolizing LADBS’ ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.


The new website has been designed with all users in mind, from those just starting to explore the construction process to professionals who rely on LADBS website to guide them through daily tasks. New visitors will benefit from an easy-to-navigate structure that will provide step-by-step guidance through the various building compliance processes. Returning users will appreciate the convenience of a more intuitive layout that will help them quickly access their most-used tools.


In addition, the new website design will be more mobile-friendly, ensuring a seamless experience for users on all devices.

Enhancement to the Regional Alliance Marketplace For Procurement (RAMP) website. The Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP) website will undergo enhancements and will be shutdown from December 9, 2024 to January 7, 2025. During this time, all contract opportunities will be suspended until the first quarter of 2025. Vendors will not be able to view solicitations on RAMP, complete their Business Inclusion Program (BIP) outreach, submit BIP Summary Sheets, or submit certification applications.
