Celebrating the Success of Suffs and Inspiring Advocacy for Children’s Health
Our recent event combining the powerful Broadway show Suffs with an engaging panel discussion on children’s health was a remarkable success! Suffs, which portrays the bravery and determination of early 20th-century suffragists, set the stage for a stirring evening, reminding us of the power of advocacy and collective action.
Following the show, Chelsea Clinton moderated a dynamic talkback with Tony-nominated Suffs actor Nikki M. James and Drs. Peter Hotez, Edith Bracho-Sanchez, and Omolara Uwemedimo, who shared insights on the pressing challenges facing children’s health today. Topics ranged from equitable healthcare access to building a pipeline of pediatric providers and researchers, each sparking meaningful dialogue and inspiring the audience to take action.
Panelists also shared their perspectives on how policy changes can improve health outcomes for children and increase access to quality care. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the evening’s success. Keep using your outside voice!
