A patient's mother wrote a thank-you card to Jane Chang and Oksana Lekarev. The family had been traveling from Toronto to New York City every few months in order to receive care because they were unable to access it in Canada due to lengthy wait lists. Now that he is eighteen, it would be easier for him to get therapy closer to home, thus today was their last appointment with our doctors. As they said goodbye and took note of how much he had changed in the past year, the team was moved to tears. Jane and Oksana are incredibly grateful to have been on this young person's journey.
Shout out to Veronika Hostiuk and Joshua Eudailey for serving as facilitators at this year's setting up your Research Program webinar for MOSAIC scholars!
