Deron is a highly accomplished human resource executive with a record of success in fast-paced, diverse environments. He has demonstrated experience and skills in administration, HR, policy development, procurement, budgeting, strategic planning, business process design, risk management, and organizational assessment. Deron is known for being a trusted partner of the executive leadership team, providing strategic thinking, team development and training. Deron most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer with Charities Aid Foundation America and previously held many positions within HR, including managing director, deputy director, and director roles. The majority of his work experience has been in the nonprofit sector, government, and academic research centers. Deron sees his new role as an opportunity to make a difference through his career. He is excited about the mission of Barber and is extremely impressed with the legacy of the organization and the impact the Barber family has had on the I/DD community across Pennsylvania.
