Greater Hershey Regional Transportation Study
The Derry Township Board of Supervisors will have a presentation of the final draft of the Greater Hershey Regional Transportation Study (GHRTS) during its next regular Board meeting on Nov. 24th. The GHRTS was prepared with the fundamental goal of identifying anticipated future development and quantifying potential roadway improvements as one method to mitigate future traffic congestion. The GHRTS includes comments received during the public comment period and many resulting modifications. This final presentation to the Board does not require any formal action by the board since the GHRTS is a planning tool and does not enable any specific legislation. The public is invited to listen to the details.
