Historical Society's 7th annual Preservation Tour
The Hershey Derry Township Historical Society is hosting their 7th annual Preservation Tour on Sunday, October 6th.

The tour this year will feature the history of the township before Mr. Hershey left his mark here. Places like the Union Canal, the many quarry operations, old churches, early communities and businesses, and more will be featured as the Trolley transports us to the areas where these things took place.

New this year, the museum will host an event-long Open House throughout the day. In addition to refreshments and an opportunity to see our new barnyard makeover, those taking the tour will be able to see additional displays about the points on the tour.

Included in those displays will be a special selection of items on loan from the Hershey Story of items from Mr. Hershey's Early American collection once housed in the Indian Museum, an early Township home that now accommodates the American Legion.
