Deshaies Electrical Services (DES) was founded by Mike Deshaies in 2011, with a commitment to establishing trust through dependability, effective communication, and fair pricing. The company’s growth over the past decade, along with its A+ ratings, is a testament to his steadfast adherence to that commitment. Please describe a strength of DES’s services.
One of our key strengths is our role as a strategic partner in residential and commercial building projects. While we offer services like installing electric and smart car chargers, generators, marine and security system wiring, light fixtures, and service upgrades for homeowners and business owners, our specialty lies in collaborating directly with builders, architects, designers, homeowners, and property managers on electrical wiring plans and installations. We provide custom electrical plans to develop pricing, ensure clear communication regarding placement and function, and manage the project process and installation scheduling.
As a dealer, DES provides “JellyFish Lighting” lighting. What kind of lighting system is it?
JellyFish Lighting was originally created for holiday lighting but has advanced since 2011 to become a versatile accent lighting system. Whether it’s used to highlight or accent exterior architectural features, provide color-changing mood lighting, or holiday, game day, or other celebration lighting, JellyFish Lighting provides a unique lighting feature to a home’s exterior. Deshaies Electric is the only dealer to offer it in Anne Arundel County.
What areas do you service and how do you support your local community?
With offices centrally located in Crofton, DES proudly serves a wide range of communities throughout Anne Arundel County and neighboring areas. As a GADD Patron Member and trusted vendor for county-based clubs, agencies, and facilities, we actively support many local fundraising efforts. Our community-focused approach fosters lasting client relationships and contributes to the well-being of our local businesses and residents.

We will get back to you shortly with a detailed quote or service appointment date and time.
