Meet Abbey Lane Quilts Owner/Designer Marcea Owen!
When we were in St Louis for Quilt Market, we stopped by the Abbey Lane Quilt booth and enjoyed meeting Marcea and seeing all her beautiful quilts. We loaded up on great patterns and received the first part of our order today. The rest should arrive soon!
I couldn't wait to show you these patterns so that's why we are highlighting Abbey Lane Quilts in this newsletter.
We have uploaded the back sides of these patterns so you can see what is required to make each design. You will notice that many Abbey Lane Quilts take advantage of Fat Quarters!
Fun Projects!
Take a look at the Godiva Apron Marcea is wearing. This only takes 1 3/4 yards of fabric!
Several months ago we introduced the Blue Jay Walk pattern. We've kitted this with fabrics very close to the original (see the quilt in back of Marcea at left) and we include the Fab Five Ruler with the kit. If you look closely, you'll notice that the rows are staggered...no seams to match!
Every Day is Like Christmas!
The boxes are coming in almost faster than we can unpack them. We can't wait to get out the box cutter and see what's inside!
