HCAI’S OSHPD + HOSPITAL BUILDING SAFETY BOARD (HBSB) ROAD SHOW

This in-person event is an opportunity to learn more about the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), the Office of Statewide Hospital Planning and Development (OSHPD), the Hospital Building Safety Board (HBSB), and how these agencies collaborate to ensure health facility safety, sustainability, and resiliency. Meet the HBSB board members and OSHPD staff who will be presenting the Road Show as they share how they work together and how the design and construction industry can get involved.

HEALTHY GROUNDS ROUNDTABLE
July 17 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 - FREE
Six months after the wildfires in Altadena and the Pacific Palisades, this roundtable convenes to discuss ecologically sound strategies for remediating and restoring contaminated soils, which form the groundwork for healthy community rebuilding.
It also aims to expand public awareness of the vital role of pre- and post-fire soil health maintenance in the affected areas and beyond.

Architects & designers passionate about improving the design quality of newly proposed projects throughout the City of Los Angeles are encouraged to participate in the AIA|LA & Los Angeles City Planning (LACP) Professional Volunteer Program (PVP).

We will be coordinating the following urban design review sessions, which will serve as opportunities for leading design talent to help the Los Angles City Planning’s Urban Design Studio critically review upcoming projects throughout our City.
