Amid Pandemic, Dioceses Renew Commitment to
Walking with Moms in Need
Due to the coronavirus, dioceses and parishes across the country have had to cancel or delay activities and even temporarily suspend public Masses. Many parishes have similarly had to adjust their schedules to officially launch the
Year of Service,
according to what is pastorally and practically appropriate for everyone’s safety. Despite these unforeseen challenges, dioceses are adapting and renewing their commitment to serve moms (safely), especially as the challenges of pregnant and parenting mothers increase.
One example is the
Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
,
which is working with community organizations to respond to current needs of pregnant and parenting moms, all while continuing its planning efforts to implement
Walking with Moms in Need
in parishes around the diocese.
