History buffs and families will learn about the Civil War and Ohio’s role in this unique educational center meant for all ages. This 10,000 sq. ft. facility offers exhibits, research library, theatre, gift shop, and 40 hands-on activities.

The Tiffin Glass Museum honors the heritage established by the men and women of Tiffin’s “Glass House”. Through preservation & education, the museum safe-guards glassware made by the artisans from the factory’s nearly hundred year history. Museum preservation work includes acquiring memorabilia and historical documents from the factory’s beginnings in 1889 until its closing in 1984. Tours are welcome.

You are invited to come tour this amazing collection of more than 3,000 dolls and other items from many nations and cultures. Admission fee is $6 per person, 4 and under free. Both guided and walk-through tours available to individuals and groups. Please call for reservations. Tour groups welcome. Fee is $6. Limit 25 at one time. Building is not handicapped accessible. Allow 1-2 hours for guided tours.

Corner of S. Washington & Water Streets, Tiffin
Tiffin Police and Fire All Patriots Memorial, located at Washington and Water streets near downtown Tiffin, features a beam from the World Trade Center. It pays tribute to those who were affected by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and memorializes those who were killed in the line of duty while serving in the city’s police and fire departments. Tour groups welcome. Guided talks are available on request.

The Fostoria, Ohio Glass Association’s Glass Heritage Gallery is dedicated to preserving and illustrating the history of Fostoria, Ohio glass. Fostoria had 13 different plants at various times during the period of 1887-1921. Three made window glass while others produced some of the most beautiful glass manufactured in America. Only two of the original buildings remain: the old Fostoria Glass Co./Seneca Glass plant and the Fostoria Incandescent Lamp plant. Both house other businesses.
Most of the 1,000 pieces of glass in the Gallery are on loan from over 100 collectors. Most items are over 110 years old.

The Seneca County Museum is housed in the 1853 home built by Rezin Shawhan, Tiffin’s first millionaire. Along with some of the home’s original furnishings, you’ll find collections of Tiffin Glass, pottery, early firearms, primitive house wares, toys, Indian artifacts, fire-fighting equipment, Civil War memorabilia and much more!

A historic 1928 vaudeville era movie palace renovated in 1998, the Ritz serves the Northwest Ohio region as a performing arts center hosting national headliners, touring productions, dance, comedy, family shows, community theatre, and more. Restored almost to the original condition in 1998, four original textone murals are breath taking as they adorn each side of the stage. A mammoth 1,200 lb. chandelier made of 20,000 Czechoslovakian crystals hangs impressively in the fine arts center.

We invite you to The Grammes-Brown House, a beautiful Victorian home and garden located close to the Downtown Historic District. We have Victorian-themed teas scheduled for 2017 on the second Saturday of February, August and October. We also offer the home for tours, lunches, meetings and other events.  Contact Jackie Fletcher at 419-585-2075 for more information. Seating is limited for the teas. Seneca Caverns in Bellevue, Ohio is one of area's largest underground caverns, and one of America's most fascinating geological wonders. Preserved close to it's original natural state, Seneca Caverns is a unique and educational adventure which you will always remember. The City of Fostoria and ODOT built a city-owned railpark. Fostoria Iron Triangle Railpark is a 5-acre tract directly inside the three double-track mainline freight rail lines that meander through Fostoria.

This house is an educational and demonstration facility to teach young and old alike how to use natural building materials, save energy and preserve the environment. The goal is to attain zero energy and to demonstrate the many “awesome ways” that will save resources by using passive solar design, solar panels, straw bale insulation with earth plaster, Energy Recovery Ventilation and many other innovative systems.

September 20-22—Downtown Tiffin & Hedges-Boyer Park
   Add to the splendor of an autumn weekend by attending one of Ohio’s 8th largest festival, now celebrating our 41st year! At the “Living History Village” you can step back into time by experiencing the rumble of Civil War cannons, while touring tents and tee-pees. There are also more food vendors than ever before offering tempting selections, along with rows and rows of crafts people. In the “Downtown Area,” there’s plenty of family entertainment including: music, amusement rides, food and children activities.
