I am very excited to announce that we are going to Israel this year! I encourage all of you to join us October 7-18, 2021 as we set forth on another incredible journey of touring, learning, loving and touching all the places of the Bible
Our Itinerary-(as always: subject to change as the Lord brings forth opportunities)
October 7 – Departure from PDX. Overnight on the plane.

DAY 1 -October 8 – Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. You will be met by your guide and bus driver and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv. D

DAY 2 - October 9 – Your journey begins with a tour of Jaffa (Joppa), the ancient seaport from which the Prophet Jonah fled from God and the city where Peter stayed with Simon the Tanner and restored Tabitha to life. Then you will drive North along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, the great Roman port city and one of the largest archeological digs in Israel. This is where the Roman centurion Cornelius was baptized by Peter and became the first gentile convert to Christianity. Next drive across the valley to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. Then travel on to Cana where Jesus performed his First miracle turning water into wine and visit the Wedding Church. Arrive to Ramot Resort Hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight. B, D

DAY 3 - October 10 – Your day begins by visiting the biblical sites around the Sea of Galilee: Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount, Capernaum, the town where Jesus lived during his Galilee Ministry, Tabgha (Church of the Loaves and Fish) where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fish. From there visit Yardenit for a baptism service on the Jordan River. Continuing to Nof Ginnosar to see the 2,000-year-old “Jesus Boat” unearthed from the Sea of Galilee. Enjoy an evening cruise on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and second overnight at Ramot Resort. B, D

DAY 4 - October 11 – Travelling South down the Jordan River Valley from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea. Your fist stop will be the Crusader fortress of Belvoir overlooking the Jordan River Valley. Then continue on to Beit Sh’ean, the largest and most spectacular excavation in all of Israel. It was here that the bodies of King Saul and his sons were put on public display by the Philistines. From there, continue to the Dead Sea, to your hotel at Ein Bokek near the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight at the Eiin Bokek. B, D

DAY 5 - October 12 –After breakfast enjoy the Dead Sea and go for a dip. Check out from your hotel and drive South to Eilat. First stop on the way is at Masada, the mountain fortress stronghold of the Jews in the war against the Romans. You will ascend the mountain by cable car and visit the palaces of Herod the Great with its Roman baths and pools. We continue South to Eilat stopping (about 17 miles north of Eilat) in one of the largest attractions, set in a beautifully majestic desert setting with amazing history and geology, Timna Park. You will find ancient copper mines and mining shafts (dating back to the 5th century BCE, and one of the most striking and well-known formation are the Solomon’s Pillars A natural structure that was formed by centuries of water erosion through the sandstone. Continue to Eilat for dinner and first overnight in Eilat. B, D

DAY 6 - October 13 – Jeep tour in the desert near Eilat (optional at additional cost). Later enjoy a cruise on the Red Sea with lunch. Dinner and second overnight in Eilat. B,D

DAY 7 - October 14 - After breakfast drive to Jerusalem. On the way, stop at the Valley of Elah, the place described in the Old Testament where the Israelites were encamped when David fought Goliath. Continuing to Jerusalem, and arrive at the top of Mount Olives for panoramic and breathtaking views of Jerusalem. Then, walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane, stopping at Dominus Flevit, where Jesus stopped and wept over Jerusalem. See the ancient olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the beautiful Church of All Nations. Next, your bus will take you to the to the Garden Tomb considered to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus. Finally, your bus will bring you to dinner and first overnight in Jerusalem. DAY 8 - October 15 – First visit to Old Jerusalem – enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and make your way to the Jewish Quarter. Visit the Cardo. Continue to the Western Wall and the Southern Temple excavations. Visit the Rabbinic Tunnel which takes you underground to the base of the Temple Mount and the actual streets that Jesus and his disciples walked upon. Continue with a walking tour of the Old City that includes Via Dolorosa, Pool of Bethsaida, St. Anne’s Cathedral and more... Return to your hotel for dinner and second overnight in Jerusalem. B, D

DAY 9 -October 16 - Jerusalem –Saturday – visit the Israel Museum, the largest cultural institutions in Israel, ranked among the world’s leading art and archeology museums. Among the highlights of the Museums, is the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest biblical manuscripts in the world, are kept. Adjacent to the Shrine is the Model of Jerusalem in the Second Temple Period. From there, a very short distance away, see the Israeli Knesset (Israel’s parliament) and view the beautiful Menorah. Afternoon – at leisure. Dinner and third overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 - October 17 –Jerusalem –Another visit to the Old City, a possible visit to Yad Vashem- Israel’s official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Some free time in the afternoon for shopping. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Last overnight in Jerusalem. B, D

DAY 11 - October 18 – Check out from hotel and transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your flights back to the US.

Tips for guide and driver - $120 per person $500 deposit holds your
place.
Cancellation fees: $100.00 per person if canceled 90 to 61 days prior to departure. $250 per person if canceled 60-31 days prior to departure. 100% penalty if canceled 30 days or less prior to departure.
