National Night Out, Tuesday, August 5!
Join neighbors for community safety
I look forward to seeing you tonight, Tuesday, August 5, for National Night Out, with events around West County.

The Richmond event starts at the Target Parking lot on 4500 MacDonald Avenue, with information booths, music, snacks and a dance contest.
The End-Party is at Southside Community Park in the Santa Fe neighborhood, not at the Civic Center, as reported in my earlier message.
Thanks to the Santa Fe Neighborhood Association for hosting the End-Party, which will include booths, food, sports, music, and a small train ride for kids.
Santa Fe is one of 25 local Richmond groups holding neighborhood Night Out events. You can get a full list at the kick-off in front of Target, or by contacting Michelle Milam or Mandy Swirsding with the Richmond Police Department at 510-620-6538.

Others events are planned in North Richmond, San Pablo, El Cerrito, Pinole, Kensington and East Richmond Heights.
Here's a short list:
  • Richmond; 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kick off celebration to start at the Target parking lot with an End-Party at Southside Park, 6th St. and Virginia Avenue, plus smaller, neighborhood block parties. For more contact Michelle Milam by email or at 510-620-6538.
