Hey Boys & Girls,

First of all, thank you very much for choosing to join us this year for our 6th Annual Blues Cruisin' Lunch. We're looking forward to seeing all of you aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia on Sunday.

I wanted to pass along a few logistical details which should make your boarding process smoother and your afternoon on board more enjoyable.
  • When you arrive you need to check in at our registration table which will be located just to the right of the ticket booth. You'll need to show your printed ticket or your mobile ticket on your phone. You will receive a physical ticket which will allow you to board the ship.
    You won't be able to board the ship with just your print at home or mobile ticket -- you'll need to have the ticket that you will pick up at registration when you check in.
  • We are using wristbands to distinguish the Blues Cruisin' Lunch passengers from those who bought tickets to the standard lunch cruise on the lower deck. You will be issued a wristband that is also needed for boarding.
    Be sure you get a wristband before getting in line. You must have a wristband to enter the main deck. The crew will be checking tickets and wristbands.  
  • Many of you purchased a group tickets which would all be in your name. If your entire group will not be arriving at the same time, it would be very helpful if you can reply to this e-mail the names of guests using one of your tickets or make sure everyone in your group has one of the printed tickets or mobile tickets with a unique ticket number. This will go a long ways to making the check-in of larger groups go much more smoothly.

  • Here are some additional useful bits of information:
    • The buffet lunch will be available until about 3pm, so make sure you eat early. The dessert buffet will be put out about time as the lunch buffet closes.
    • The bar is open bar for house wine, beer, and soft drinks. Craft beers and mixed drinks will be at an additional cost. At 3:30pm, when the ship returns to the dock, the bar will become an all cash bar.
    • CD's for the performers will be available directly from the performers. Sales are cash only and exact change is always appreciated.
    • When the show is over at 4:30pm, please exit the ship quickly as the cruise needs to turn the ship over for the evening dinner cruise.
