Did you know a District 196 Mountain Bike Team is available for students entering grade 6 in fall '23?
Be coached by certified and trained MTB coaches that have years of experience teaching the fundamentals of biking. Practice on twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday) with the season beginning in mid-July through October. Optional racing available to those that want to race (not a requirement). Provide your own bike and helmet, and the District 196 MTB team will take it from there! The District 196 Mountain Bike is looking for 6th graders (and middle schoolers, boys & girls) who are interested in mountain biking. No experience is necessary. Open Swim
Bring the family for fun in the pool. Locker rooms are available for changing. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Children ages 8 to 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.

Do you seek employment as a swim instructor aide? This class is for you! CPR and First Aid training are included in the course. Students that complete this course will be qualified to apply for employment at the age of 14.

Join REVolution Swimming for a competitive swimming experience!
Join the REVolution for competitive swimming! Coaches focus on skill development and conditioning, creating an ideal experience for first-time competitive swimmers as well as experienced swimmers. 
Prerequisite 
• Students grades 5-12
• Successful completion of Red Cross Level 4 or 3 sessions of Level 4 or equivalent skills
• Successful swim evaluation for grades 3 & 4

Engage in learning this summer! CAHOOTS is an eight-week K-5 summer math and language arts correspondence program. Complete and correct lessons at home, then complete and mail an assignment reflection to a CAHOOTS Buddy, who will send a response back!

CAHOOTS workbooks will be available for $49 each, only while supplies last! Register now through Thursday, May 25. Use the age/grade tab to select the grade your child will be entering in the fall. The book will be mailed home the week of June 5.
