Internal Communication

DevelopU is DPD’s professional development and training program, and it is available to you as a means of adding to knowledge and skill base. 

In collaboration with your Administrator or Manager, you completed a Development Assessment and identified training topics and development areas you aim to focus on this year. Through our training partner, United Training (UT), a range of skill development opportunities are available to you. Explore the course catalogue here. 

You will find a range of technical, soft-skill, and leadership development courses. When multiple team members are interested in the same course, we may schedule to do those as a group. Otherwise, courses are led by an instructor virtually, and several date/time options are available. This flexibility ensures you have options that fit your schedule.  

Registration is open for training! Please ensure you plan your training schedule with your Manager. Use the form linked here to register. Do not enroll on the website. Here’s what’s not included:

 

• Training courses exceeding 2-days: One and two-day courses are offered though our UT partnership. 
• Certification Courses: Presently, these are outside of the scope of this partnership, though you will find them on the website; this may change in future years. 

Please do not miss a course after you have registered and have been confirmed. Reschedule instead. Otherwise, we may pay for a course that was not attended.  

Please plug-in, take courses in a place that allows you to focus, and ensure you get the most from every session you take!

Currently, most training options are facilitated live and remotely via a web meeting. We'd like to know if adding self-paced, on-demand course options would increase the chance that you might enroll in a training course and complete it.
