AADO is currently working with a nonprofit organization in New Orleans that is doing meaningful and impactful work within the community, and we are assisting them in identifying the right fundraising professional for an exciting leadership opportunity.

The organization is seeking a dynamic and strategic Development Director to lead fundraising operations, donor engagement, sponsorship development, grants coordination, communications, and external partnerships.

This full-time leadership role is ideal for a fundraising professional who is passionate about mission-centered work and has experience in areas such as:

• Major gifts and donor stewardship

• Grant coordination and institutional giving

• Sponsorship and event fundraising

• Development communications and campaigns

• Fundraising operations and donor database management

• Working closely with executive leadership and boards

The position offers:

• Starting salary of approximately $75,000

• Relocation stipend available

• Opportunity to help advance meaningful community impact through philanthropy

Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience along with strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
