First northbound I-25 on-ramp at Crystal Valley interchange opens

Accessing Interstate 25 in southern Castle Rock just got a little easier.

The first northbound I-25 on-ramp at the Crystal Valley interchange is now open, providing motorists direct access to northbound I-25 from Crystal Valley Parkway and improving mobility in the area. See the map, right.

While the full interchange remains on track for completion in 2027, this early opening marks significant progress on one of the Town’s largest transportation projects. Additional ramps will open as construction advances, and it is safe to do so. The remaining northbound ramps are expected to open in July.

The interchange also supports continued development on the west side of Town, including businesses and shopping areas in the Dawson Trails development. Most notably, Costco remains on track to open in 2027, bringing a major retail destination to the area and enhancing services for residents.

Sign code reminder

Summer often means yard sale season, but please remember that signs are not allowed in public rights of way. To help keep our community attractive and reduce clutter, the Town prohibits placing any signs in these areas, including garage sale, open house, business, and pop-up sale signs. Signs placed in public rights of way will be removed and disposed of. Signs may only be placed on private property with the property owner’s permission.
