On Aug. 26, 2019, Development Services will roll out Escrow Account functionality to its Land Development customers!

Land Development customers will be able to create an Escrow Account 24/7 from the comfort of their home. In addition, escrow accounts offer the special feature of the assignment of authorized users. An authorized user is a person selected and approved by the escrow owner to conduct business on their behalf. An authorized user on an escrow account may be granted the following permissions by the escrow account owner:

  • depositing fees
  • paying fees
  • submitting requests for refunds
  • applying for refunds on a record
  • uploading documentation

An open house for customers during the rollout of Land Development Escrow Account functionality is planned for go-live week in August 2019. Customers interested in creating an Escrow Account will have the opportunity to sit with Development Services Department staff to create their accounts or ask any additional questions. Look for more information about the Open House and the Escrow Account online process in upcoming newsletters.
