Dear Friends,
With gratitude for your partnership, I write to share the news that March 14th will be my last day at Blackstone Heritage Corridor. Since joining the Corridor eleven years ago, we have achieved remarkable things and have much to celebrate. Together, we:
· Opened the Worcester Heritage Center;
· Completed construction of the Kelly House Barn in Lincoln, RI;
· Created our accessible bicycle and kayak program;
· Weathered the COVID pandemic;
· Expanded our volunteer program to be an NPS hallmark program;
· Shepherded our first Partnership Agreement with NPS;
· Launched the institution’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign;
· And so much more!
I am so proud of all that we have done and accomplished, but it is time for a change both for the Corridor and for my family. I have recently accepted the position of Executive Director of the New Hampshire Boat Museum and will be stepping into this role as of April 1st. Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, this “museum in the making” is, for me, the next step in my over 30 years as a non-profit and museum administrator.
Thank you all for making my time with the Corridor an amazing experience. I look forward to seeing what new adventures you take the Corridor on. Best wishes to each of you and the Corridor for a prosperous future.
