COVID Testing
FREE Local COVID-19 Testing
Have you left your house? Then you’ve been exposed to COVID-19. Symptoms or no symptoms, you can get tested for FREE in Southeastern San Diego. We’re partnering with the San Diego County COVID-19 Equity Task Force, County of San Diego and Multicultural Health Foundation to help connect our community with local COVID-19 testing sites. Together, we can stop the spread of coronavirus!

FREE Summer Meals for Children 18 & Under!
The City of San Diego, Vons and the San Diego Parks Foundation have teamed up to provide FREE to-go breakfast and lunch at 12 San Diego parks on weekdays. No registration or paperwork required. Meals are free for children 18 and under, and children are not required to be present when picking up meals. Please wear a face covering while picking up food.
Muslim Leadership Council's FREE Warm Meals Delivery Program
The Muslim Leadership Council, one of our Southeastern San Diego Rapid Respond Fund grantees, has been serving food to impacted community members since March! The Warm Meals Delivery Program will provide meals to San Diego seniors, healthcare workers, first responders and individuals who are homeless that live in the following zip codes: 92102, 92105, 92113, 92114 and 92139.

Access Youth Academy Breaks Ground
Exciting news! Just this week, Access Youth Academy announced its construction project has officially begun. Watch the video to see how this construction zone will transform into a wonderful education space to teach youth the sport of squash. 
KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy Completes Construction
Built by Pacific Building Group, the second building of KIPP Adelante Prepatory Academy is now complete on the Jacobs Center campus!

KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) is a tuition-free, college preparatory charter public middle school and is part of the national KIPP network of 224 schools in 20 states and Washington, DC. Distance learning begins Aug. 31.
CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center & Union Bank Partnership Wins National Award
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced the 2020 winners of the Secretary’s Award for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships, including the MUFG Union Bank Foundation for its partnership with CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center, the San Diego region’s only business accelerator program focused on low- to moderate-income and diverse founders.

Union Bank and CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center are one of only seven recipients nationwide and the only awardee from San Diego.
