Church of St. Mary
Ridgefield, CT

St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church reopened in December 2021 after extensive interior and exterior renovations, including structural, heating, and electrical upgrades. The addition features a new Gathering Room, new Sacristy and Reconciliation Rooms, new bathrooms, and a new kitchen. The new Gathering Room will be used for meetings, talks and video presentations.

Millbrook School
Millbrook, NY

TDEG has been involved in several renovations at the Millbrook School.  This latest phase consists of a Barn Addition, new Alumni House, new Pulling House and Garage. Pictured above is the Pulling House in the rear and the Alumni House is on the right.

Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club Addition and Alterations
Ridgefield, CT

The Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club was originally built in 1958. In 2004 TDEG was involved in the design of a renovation and expansion of the club which included a Game Room, Arts and Crafts spaces, a Snack Bar, and a separate clubhouse for teens. This new project includes a two-story, 10,000 square foot addition that includes a Multi-Purpose Room, Teen Center and Tween Center, and a Café and exterior roof garden with program space on the second level.

Meet Nicolas Gallego
We are pleased to announce that Nicolas Gallego joined TDEG in May after graduating from the University of Hartford with a Master of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering. Nic earned his Master’s degree while working for the CT Department of Transportation on the preservation and rehabilitation of the historic bridges along the Merritt Parkway.

Prior to his work at the DOT, Nic obtained his BS of Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford in May 2020. Nic is a resident of Weston and in his spare time he enjoys hiking and snowboarding. Please join us in welcoming Nic.

We are looking for an entry-level structural engineer in our Castle Rock, Colorado office. Responsibilities include structural engineering analysis and design of building foundations and superstructures, submittal review, construction site inspections, and evaluation of existing structural systems.
